BeyondLab, a non-profit organization, is an initiative launched by French young researchers and entrepreneurs since 2014. We are working for facilitating LabTech (i.e. academic, research based) startups in the world. We are today based on 6 cities in France, 1 city in Swiss, and 1 city in Japan. In our previous events, we have involved more than 1200 people and 100 projects.
Our basic action is to organize events for connecting people (young and experienced / researchers and entrepreneurs / other talents of design, low, etc.)
Additional Actions as Tokyo Branch are to :
La French Tech Tokyo (please see the following URL) is also supporting us !
Objective of the event : Let young talented people meet forefronts of the field and lead them to an action !
The purpose of our events is always to let young talented people meet forefronts of the selected field and then encourage them to make their own action (deepening their study, creating a startup, whatever possible) by profiting the network they will obtain in our events.
The venue is in the head office of "SoftBank", one of the most innovative enterprises in Japan, which is also well-known for the "Pepper" robots. In collaboration with SoftBank, BeyondLab takes "Robotics" as a theme of the event. We invite guest speakers of forefront Robotics-related (including VR/AR) technologies and create a moment of frank discussion all together with participants.
